ADAPT was delighted to host another successful Human Performance Forum with keynote speakers – Judy Murray, OBE and Leon Smith, OBE.
Both Judy and Leon provided a captivating and thought-provoking session on how to lead a world-class team and how to create high-performance cultures.
Both Leon and Judy have coached and led teams at the highest level possible in the world of tennis and faced all the challenges that come with media pressure, managing people and navigating culture, on a global scale.
Leon talked to our guests about his Davis Cup journey, leading the Great British team to victory in 2015 as well as his formative year coaching previous world number one Andy Murray.
Judy provided an account of her journey as a player in her younger years, tennis coach, mother to two tennis professionals (Jamie and Andy) as well as Author and Charity Foundation owner judymurrayfoundation.com. Judy drew on some surprising parallels between tennis and the corporate world and what it takes to be a world-class leader and reach the top of your game in both business and sport.
